Audio Jack created Sub-Atomic in 2016 for Townslands Carnival in Macroom. About the build, Jack Smiles said: “This was an epic build from start to finish; made out of 100 percent recycled wood collected from a local packaging company and built in just four weeks, start to finish.”
The build was first commissioned for the festival’s dance area. “We thought the idea of an old power station would suit the underground vibes of the dance culture and we got the go ahead right away!”
After the success of the first year Audio Jack was asked back again for round two of Townslands Carnival and have since used the DJ booth in many other successful events around Cork.
