PepsiCo Ireland is proud to continue its commitment to supporting local charities, Edel House and Cork Penny Dinners, through its latest ‘Sustainable Love’ charitable initiative.
Cork PepsiCo Employee Resource Groups (Green Teams, Women’s Inclusion Network & Charity Committee) came together asking employees to get involved in a Sustainable Charity initiative by donating new or unused items such as toiletries, gift sets, books, small clothing items, and arts and crafts activities for children. At the end of the month, over 50 donation boxes were collected by the charities from the PepsiCo sites.
Cork Penny Dinners is another key charity partner for PepsiCo Ireland. The company has been working with Cork Penny Dinners for years, providing direct monetary donations, clothing collections, and organizing events were colleagues volunteer during work hours.
“PepsiCo’s Little Island Green Team supported this campaign which promotes recycling of unused items in our homes. We are thrilled to continue our support with these amazing charities Edel House and Cork Penny Dinners, strengthening our partnerships, whilst embedding sustainable practices with our employees.” Bernadette Leyden, Green Team Lead, PepsiCo.
“On behalf of PepsiCo’s Women’s Inclusion Network (WIN), we were delighted to be able to assist these important charities in Cork, who do so much great work to support women and girls in our communities. PepsiCo’s Inclusion for Growth strategy provides a platform for continued engagement in our local communities, and this donation drive is just one of many initiatives that PepsiCo support in Cork to give back to the community.” Alan Barry R&D Director & WIN Co-Chair.
PepsiCo Ireland’s partnership with Edel House focuses on providing support to women and children in need. This charity not only offers housing but also works with homeless teenage girls to support them in returning to education. “We are delighted to receive this fabulous donation from PepsiCo. It is of great value to us as we continually work to support the women, children and families in our service who are homeless.” Claire Harrington, Event Co-Ordinator and Social Care Leader, Edel House, Good Shepherd, Cork.
Throughout 2025, PepsiCo Ireland is dedicated to collaborating with numerous local charity partners to make a positive impact on the environment and the communities where their employees live and work.
