Cork County Council is carrying out road construction work to enhance transportation infrastructure and improve safety for all road users in Little Island. The project includes the installation of additional cycle lanes, new bus lanes, and pedestrian footpaths. Works will also involve pavement construction, utility installations and diversions, road drainage improvements, and upgrades to public lighting.
McGinty & O’Shea Ltd., on behalf of Cork County Council, is undertaking this project. Work is set to begin on Monday, April 14th, and will continue for approximately 12 months, spanning from the junction at Circle K to the junction at Harbour Point Business Park. Traffic Management will be in operation for the duration of the works.
