The Cork International Hotel has been served a double helping of accolades this week with the hotel receiving praise from two of the country’s most reputable tourism names.
The hotel, which is located close to Cork Airport, has been listed in TripAdvisor’s top 25 hotels in Ireland. The annual Traveller’s Choice Awards Best of the Best title celebrates the highest level of excellence in travel.
The honour is given to those who receive a high volume of above-and-beyond reviews and opinions from the Tripadvisor community over a 12-month period. The travel website states that out of their 8 million listings, fewer than 1% achieve this milestone.
Currently, on the website, Cork International Hotel has 3,658 Excellent reviews and 809 Very Good reviews. Among the reviews the hotel has received are:
“We had a warm welcome at the front desk! Very clean and neat room. A very comfortable bed to sleep in! The breakfast was great!”
“Excellent room and quiet place near to the airport. Perfect when you have a very late check-in. Good breakfast.”

The Cork International Hotel is part of the Trigon Hotel Group which also includes the Metropole Hotel in Cork City.
Both hotels have been certified as an Outstanding Employer for 2024 as part of Fáilte Ireland’s Employer Excellence Programme. The Cork International Hotel has received a Gold certificate which is the highest certification available to a business in the programme. The Metropole Hotel received a Silver certificate.
