“Villa Maria Blush Sauvignon is a toast to moments of joy, to raising a glass when you’re in the moment, loving life and those around you.”
Villa Maria, a name synonymous with exceptional New Zealand wines, is proud to showcase a delicious new wine to the Irish market – Villa Maria Blush Sauvignon. Is it a Rosé? Is it Sauvignon Blanc ? Villa Maria has created the best of both worlds crafted with 90 percent Sauvignon Blanc and just a touch of Merlot (10%). This innovative and alluring wine delivers the taste experience of New Zealand’s favourite and cherished Sauvignon Blanc with a beautiful pale pink twist, bursting with fresh flavours of passionfruit and cranberry. Villa Maria Blush Sauvignon is the evolution of Sauvignon Blanc.
It feels like everyone is drinking pink these days, says Villa Maria Global Marketing and Communications Director, Sarah Szegota. “Instagram feeds and social occasions are dominated by the fun-factor pale Rosés and pink spirits offer. Yet despite all the noise, growth and ‘Grams’, the Rosé category remains dwarfed by Sauvignon Blanc. Villa Maria Sauvignon Blush gives you the best of both. As the Irish summer continues, and wine lovers are reaching for a refreshing glass of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc, Villa Maria Blush will absolutely be front of mind.”
The cool climate within New Zealand’s wine-growing regions provides freshness and natural acidity, making Villa Maria Blush Sauvignon a great choice for an aperitif or alfresco dining. “For a fruity alternative, pour over ice with a raspberry and a basil leaf – it’s delicious,” says Szegota.
Crafted with meticulous care and devotion, Villa Maria Blush Sauvignon stands as a testament to the winery’s commitment to producing wines of exceptional quality and character. This distinctive wine draws from the richness of New Zealand Vineyards, where the world-renowned Sauvignon Blanc grape meets a delicate touch of merlot, resulting in a harmonious fusion that is both visually and tastefully captivating.
