Shine A Light Suicide & Mental Health Awareness is thrilled to announce the return of #MakeSomeNoiseCork for its 6th consecutive year. This highly anticipated event will take place on Saturday, October 5th, 2024, at the Smurfit Theatre, Dance Cork Firkin Crane, Shandon Cork, starting at 7:30pm. Doors will open at 7pm.
Event Highlights:
Myles Gaffney will headline the event once again. Myles, alongside Liam Mullaney, was instrumental in the inception of #MakeSomeNoiseCork back in 2018.

Andrew Fletcher, a rising star in the Cork music scene, will also perform. Andrew recently played Live at the Marquee with Glen Hansard.
The Kabin Crew, currently the hottest ticket in Cork, will also be back, bringing their boundless energy and talent to the event. They have been lighting up stages all over the country and abroad, and delighting audiences everywhere.
Purpose: The primary goal of #MakeSomeNoiseCork is to raise awareness about positive mental health and to direct people to local and national services and resources. Over the past six years, the event has grown significantly, helping many individuals by providing information and low-cost counselling services. The recent years have been challenging, but the resilience of the community has been remarkable. This event aims to continue fostering a supportive environment where people can reach out and support one another.
Fundraising: #MakeSomeNoiseCork is also a major fundraising event for Shine A Light Suicide & Mental Health Awareness. The funds raised are crucial for continuing to assist people in crisis. We encourage the public to support this event, which also serves as a platform for showcasing the abundant local talent in Cork.
Collaboration: This event is in collaboration with Cork Kerry Healthcare, our sponsors and we thank them for their support.
