One of Cork’s biggest outdoor celebrations is turning up the volume this June as the Cork Summer Show 2025 unveils its most exciting live music line-up yet — headlined by acclaimed Irish artist Mundy. Taking place on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 June at the Cork Showgrounds in Curraheen, the event is set to welcome more than 40,000 visitors for a weekend of Irish music, food, and family fun.
A major highlight is a special live performance by acclaimed Irish singer-songwriter Mundy, taking to the Main Stage from 2–3pm on Sunday 15 June. Known for hits like July and To You I Bestow, Mundy’s headline set will be a centrepiece of the show’s entertainment offering and a perfect soundtrack to a celebratory Father’s Day.
With the full schedule of events now live at www.corksummershow.com, music lovers can start planning their perfect weekend now.
The Main Stage music programme spans two full days of performances, including contemporary duo The OARs; the Gaeltacht-based folk rock quintet, Leevy; Latin band, Son Solar; the ever-popular Rebel Brass Band, and genre-spanning sets from Underscore Orkestra. DJ Jim x Comet will also keep the tempo high across both days with their infectious energy and crowd-pleasing mixes.
The Cork Summer Show is organised by the Munster Agricultural Society and is Munster’s longest-running agricultural and cultural event. While rooted in farming and craft, the show has evolved into a showcase of modern Irish life, blending rural tradition with contemporary culture.
The showgrounds will also host live cookery demos with TikTok star Edgar Kirby, Orla McAndrew, and The Culinary Celt Cathy Fitzgibbon, alongside family entertainment, pet zones and artisan food. The Cork Summer Show is also home to over 800 open competition classes across livestock, baking, horticulture, equestrian, art, and crafts, and entries are now open online. This year’s official charity partner is My Canine Companion, which provides accredited autism service dogs to children and families across Ireland.
“Live music is now a huge part of the Cork Summer Show’s appeal,” said Gerard Murphy, President of the Munster Agricultural Society. “With names like Mundy and The Rebel Brass Band on site, we’re offering something truly special alongside the heritage and hospitality the Show is known for.”
Free shuttle buses will run throughout the weekend from Ballincollig Shopping Centre, Black Ash Park & Ride, and Curraheen Greyhound Stadium. An extended Bus Éireann 208 route will also be in operation. This direct service drops you right at the Showgrounds and picks you up for an easy return journey. Visitors are strongly encouraged to use the shuttle system, as on-site parking is limited to park-and-ride users. Children under sixteen go free but must be registered online in advance with a ticket. There is also a special reduced price for ages 16-18.
Discounted family and group tickets are available now at corksummershow.com.
