MULTI award-winning IKON Hair Design has done it again!
The Oliver Plunkett Street-based salon has been named the winner of the Fantastic Salon Award at the ALFAPARF MILANO FANTASTIC HAIRDRESSER AWARDS 2017.
This is the second time the salon has been honoured with this prestigious award, having previously won the title in 2011.
The Awards, now in its eight year, is the most widely attended awards ceremony in the hairdressing industry on the island of Ireland and took place in The Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road on Sunday, November 5.
Stylist and proprietor, Valerie Finnegan Cahill celebrated 20 years in business this year – she opened her original salon in 1997 on Princes Street.
Valerie said: “Our philosophy is simple – we are committed to providing our clients with the highest standards in creative hairdressing and client care. Translating catwalk styles, into every day, wearable hairstyles tailored to the individual.”
Valerie said education is the key to the salon’s continued success, and this means she and her team and constantly up-skilling by training at home and abroad.
She added: “Educating our team is not enough, we believe in educating our clients, by giving extensive advice on maintaining beautiful hair beyond the salon.”
