Ó Crualaoí’s Butchers, Delicatessen and Party Food Specialists are proud to have won the title of Best Butcher for Burgers at this year’s Burger Fest!
Burger Fest 2018 was a much anticipated event that celebrated the ‘humble burger’ in over 300 pubs, hotels, cafés, restaurants and butchers across Ireland.
People came in their droves, to sample the delicious burgers that Ireland had to offer at creative burger events, tastings and demos that took place nationwide, while venues in every county battled it out to win the coveted title of Best Burger.
The public had their say and got their chance to vote for their favourite burgers on social media by using the hashtag #BurgerFest, thanks to the powerful digital campaign that accompanied the festivities.
Francis Twohig, Chief Executive of Ó Crualaoí Butchers was particularly thrilled with the win!
“I want to thank everyone that took the time and voted for us, we are delighted to receive this award! We constantly strive to give our customers the very best in quality local meat. We invest in developing new products to widen our range and offer more choice and flavours to our customers. We are thrilled our efforts have been recognised.”
The Ó Crualaoí family name has long been associated with a strong appreciation for premium quality food and naturally fresh Irish meat, which helped Ó Crualaoí’s to secure another great win. While their headquarters is still based in Ballincollig, the Ó Crualaoí group now employs over a hundred staff and operates state-of-the-art stores in Ballincollig, Carrigaline, Wilton Shopping Centre and Fermoy.
