Breaking News: Volotea Expansion
| Following a very successful Summer 2017 schedule, Volotea, the Spanish low-cost carrier has confirmed that their weekly Verona service to Cork will increase to twice weekly for Summer 2018. Cork to Verona will operate every Saturday from May 26 – August 29, with an additional flight on Wednesdays during peak season commencing on June 27.

SWISS Expands Zurich Service For Summer 2018
| Cork Airport has warmly welcomed the announcement by Swiss International Air Lines that it is to expand its Cork Zurich service for 2018. SWISS, who operated the service for the first time this year, will more than double its capacity for next summer from 9,000 seats to 20,140 providing a significant boost to inbound tourism.
The airline will operate three flights per week – Monday, Wednesday and Friday – commencing in early May and running until the end of October 2018. The announcement means an additional weekly flight on last year, every Wednesday and an expansion on its summer season to almost 25 weeks. Zurich Airport is a hub and passengers can connect to many destinations from Cork Airport through Zurich Airport. These destinations include Tokyo, Brussels, Athens, Los Angeles, Rome and many more. |
