Jessica Loves Gift Shop & Studio offers unique and personalised hand painted gifts and selected furniture, which are carefully reloved by the creative brains behind the business, Jessica Power.
Jessica is a crafty, busy mother of two toddlers, Eva and Ben, and wife to Eoghan, living in Youghal by the sea. She set up her first online craft business, jesterdesign, on October 22, 2013, while on maternity leave with her first child, creating soft baby headbands, personalised jute tote bags, hand painted wooden gifts and box frames.
Towards the end of 2016, Jessica established her multi-award-winning craft, interiors and lifestyle blog, where she shared her passion for these topics and her upcycling projects, featuring a peek into her own family life in between. Not long after, this inspiration and go-getting businesswoman opened her first retail store in Youghal, Cork, rebranding from jesterdesign to Jessica Loves.
Her store and studio offer shoppers a vast array of beautiful and personalised hand crafted and painted gifts, as well as reloved furniture sales and commissions.
“We also offer Frenchic Furniture Painting workshops, Family Fun workshops and Crafternoon Tea Parties for both adults and kids.”
Jessica ensures her workshops can cater for hen parties, birthday parties and other such group occasions. Jessica Loves is also an official stockist of Frenchic Furniture Paint, “the brand in demand!”
Jessica’s passion and dedication have fuelled her business to grow successfully at the rate it has, so it is no great surprise that in 2017 Jessica Loves was nominated for a Cork Business Award for Small Business of the Year; was shortlisted for Best Craft Blog at the Amara Interior Blog Awards in London; won the Silver Award in the Corporate Arts & Crafts category at the V by Very Irish Blog Awards and nabbed the Gloria Vanderbilt Award at the Hi Style Awards! Jessica Loves has again been nominated for both the Cork Business Awards and Hi Style Awards for 2018.
“I am so thankful for all my loyal customers, as they are the ones that help keep this show on the road, as it’s either ‘Buy Local or Bye Local’! I have lots of ideas and plans for the future and can only hope I get the opportunity to bring them all to fruition one day.
“In the meantime, I will keep working hard to keep things fresh and interesting for my customers, so I can hold onto that work life balance I’ve created for my family a little longer.”
