Hop Onboard for an Unmissable Cork Harbour Sunset Cruise
A cool ocean breeze on your face, a salty spray on your skin, watching the sparkling water and basking in the beauty of a glorious pink and orange sky as the sun begins to set on the horizon. Doesn’t this sound like an idyllic summers evening? You could be sailing around scenic Cork Harbour, chasing the sunset, during a special 2 hour long Sunset Cruise departing from Crosshaven on July 13th at 8pm.
The cruise is being run by ‘Ocean Escapes’ on their new Cork Harbour tour boat experience, which operates daily between Cork and Cobh, and has quickly become the hottest ‘summer bucket list’ thing to do in Cork in 2018. The tour guides and crew have witnessed some remarkable sunsets as the boat docks each evening in Crosshaven and decided that Cork locals and visitors might also enjoy spending some time on the open water ‘chasing the sunset’. Tickets for the Sunset Cruise from Hugh Coveney Pier in Crosshaven are €15 per person or €20 for two people, and can be bought on board.
If you can’t make this Sunset Cruise, but would still like to get out on the water to enjoy breath-taking views, famous sights, nature & wildlife, fascinating stories, and all the maritime history that Cork Harbour has to offer, you can book a place onboard the 72-seater tour boat from either Port of Cork Marina, Custom House Quay in Cork City or Kennedy Quay in Cobh. See oceanescapes.ie for times and prices. Tours depart daily until September from Cobh or Cork City. Or, if you are more of a thrill seeker, you can book a tour on one of the Ocean Escapes exhilarating high speed ribs.
