Wellness Cork is the organisation that awards The W Mark to businesses and organisations across Cork City & County. The W Mark is the Symbol of Wellness and is awarded to businesses and organisations that agree to the Terms & Conditions of Wellness Cork and adhere to a policy of accepting the importance of Wellness in the Workplace and to implementing a culture of Wellness for all their Team.

Wellness Cork as part of Business Cork is delighted to launch The W Mark as The Symbol of Wellness. This is a movement where our vision is to have The W Mark proudly displayed in every business so that the message that “Wellness Works” is clearly seen by all your employees and team. Wellness Cork is lead by its Wellness Ambassador Bibi Baskin whose life has embrace Wellness in many forms and Michael Mulcahy the Publisher of Business Cork who would like to see all Cork businesses and organisations embracing a culture of Wellness that Works for their businesses, organisations and in particular their Teams. HOW CAN YOUR BUSINESS OR ORGANISATION BE AWARDED THE W MARK?
Awarding The W Mark to businesses and organisations is a key step in embracing the concept of Wellness in the Workplace and we would be delighted to work with you and your business in promoting Wellness in your Workplace and ensure that the key elements of absenteeism, improved performance and physical and mental health are improved for the benefit of everyone. In recognition of being awarded The W Mark, businesses and organisations agree to the following Terms & Conditions and fully endorse a culture of Wellness in their organisation and a Wellness Talk to their Team by our Wellness Ambassador Bibi Baskin
THE 8 STEPS TO WELLNESS:
1. We agree to accepting a CULTURE of Wellness in the Workplace in our facility
2. We agree to help raise AWARENESS of health risks and solutions amongst our Team
3. We agree to work towards providing the MOTIVATION and skills needed to reduce these risks
4. We agree to support and reinforce ATTITUDES in shaping a culture of Wellness for our Team
5. We agree to generate INTEREST in Wellness that employees take action
6. We agree to PROMOTE a policy of ‘Wellness Works’ for our Team
7. We agree to CONNECT our Team directly to the resources that are available to them
8. We agree to DISPLAY within our facility The W Mark and publicly endorse Wellness
