Minister of State at the Department of Housing, Planning and Local Government, Damien English will officially open two phases of Cork City Council’s North West Quarter Regeneration Plan at 2pm on Thursday on Kilmore Road.
There are 52 houses in phases 1(a) and 1(b).
Minister English will also turn the sod on a third phase (2a) which will see another 47 homes developed.
The Lord Mayor, Cork City Council CE, the Director of Housing, councillors and a number of tenants will also be present. Jim Coughlan has been requested to take photographs.
