And once again the newspaper has been recognised for its hard work and contribution to the local community. Cork Independent took home the title of The Cork Publication of the Year 2018 at our very own The Rémy Martin Cork Business Awards 2018!

Staff members in attendance at the award ceremony were delighted on the night but celebrations didn’t end there, as they brought that delight back to their offices. “There was great rejoicing throughout all the team all week! We will be having a celebratory lunch to mark the achievement.
“The award holds pride of place in the reception of the office for all to see! In time, it will be displayed with our other awards in our special display cabinet.
