Tell us about your business, the history, present, team and goals?

We have some new team members based in Cork covering the Munster area and we will be setting up a new office in Cork when the Covid 19 situation is under control.

How do you generate innovative ideas?
We talk to our customers, listen & implement what they have to say as much as possible. We have brainstorming sessions with our team regularly who are out there working on the ground and have so much valuable information to feedback.
We always keep an eye out and an ear to the ground for interesting things other businesses are doing and implement in our own way.
If you could talk to one person from history, who would it be and why?
I’d like to talk to Steve Jobs, I really would have liked to meet him and have a conversation not about technology but about his drive, ambition and vision, one of my favourite quotes from Steve Jobs is. “Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it.” For me that is technology.
When did you realise that as a business you would need to pivot?
We are very Intune with the market and the issues our customers are facing. Incredibly early on in the COVID ’19 situation, our customers started reaching out for support with planning for the possibility of remote working
and help designing business continuity and security procedures for home workers to ensure that they can work securely. We have a lot of experience in secure remote working and were able to provide a variety of solutions to suit each customer’s needs and budgets.
What did that pivot look like?
Our pivot included our entire team working from home with a lot more remote support for our clients. We started selling a lot of workplace safety tech solutions including workflow & temperature sensing equipment,
We started a small business section to support micro-businesses, new start-ups and businesses in the retail & hospitality industry in addition to our main customer base of SMB & Enterprise business and we started selling a lot more hardware and software solutions to people working from home.
How did you home in on new goals?
We just followed the valuable feedback of our clients and became even more flexible offering ad hoc hourly services as well as managed IT service contracts.
Our main goal was to reduce the costs of IT products & services for our customers and provide as much value as possible.
Did the change come from within your business or did external things help?
Our customers are our guides and where we get all of our inspiration from. They know what they want and need for their businesses and we work with them to find the best possible solutions to support them.
Did your core mission change?
No, our core mission never changes, we are here to serve our customers and provide the best solutions for them and add value.
What are your plans?
We will continue to support our customers and grow across Ireland & The UK by providing Managed IT Services | Hardware & Software at unbeatable prices across Ireland & the UK.
