WEST CORK NETWORK BUSINESS WOMEN ATTEND THE LAST EVENT OF YEAR 2019
The Network Ireland West Cork November event entitled “Fearless Leadership” with two incredible and inspirational panel speakers; Siobhan Sweeney, AIB and Deborah Somorin, PWC Empower the Family speaking on “bringing yourself to work” and how we must step up, resilient to be fearless leaders to grow. Sharon Huggard, Network West Cork Stylist also spoke and shared her top tips for dressing us and how we can make that first impact impression to reflect our own brand. The event took place yesterday evening (Tuesday 26th November) at Dunmore House Hotel Co. Cork. Attended my some of West Cork’s inspiring business women to be fearless on their journey through business.
Speaking at the event, Ciara Lucy, President of Network Ireland West Cork last event said “Being Fearless” was the Network Ireland West Cork motto for year and was something she wanted to instil in all our members throughout year to help them grow and develop their businesses and as a result bring more employment to West Cork. This was my last event as President and I wanted to go out with a bang and really inspire our members to continue to dig deep, take that deep breath, believe in themselves and have the confidence to go for it. Sometimes women can doubt their capabilities and as result don’t put themselves forward. My mantra this year was get out of your comfort zone, do something that makes you uncomfortable and go for it! Sleeping out in Sherkin Island for the Homeless was my example of that. I look forward to seeing what 2020 brings under the Presidency of Carole Murphy. I have no doubt she will do an amazing job.
