Cork’s elegant, 4-star family run, Vienna Woods Country House Hotel on the outskirts of Cork City, sets itself apart from other Cork venues and is hosting an exclusive, free-entry Wedding Fayre on Sunday January 27th showcasing the hotel’s unique wedding offerings from 5pm to 7pm.
The complimentary event presents the opportunity to experience everything the luxury country house hotel has to offer. Couples can personally meet the hotel’s team of wedding experts and recommended suppliers, including specialists from every field of the wedding business who will exhibit their products and services against the luxurious backdrop of the Vienna Woods 18th century private woodland surrounds.
With an unrivaled reputation for delivering superior wedding hospitality, Vienna Woods is sure to pull out all the stops for this Wedding Fayre event and there will be plenty of treats in store for guests including a lavish drinks reception, outdoor performances and a first dance display every half hour.
Ambiance is key and to set the scene, a variety of musical styles will be performed in each of the historic country house hotel’s reception rooms where guests will be invited to sample a selection of executive head chef, Adrian Hillgrove’s high-quality wedding dishes, including canapes, starters, mains and desserts, with each room serving a different food offering presented just as it would be on the big day.There will also be plenty of beverages on offer, from traditional wines and champagne, to on-trend gin and tonic carts, colourful cocktail displays and warm apple cider shots.
Showcasing the hotel’s recent €1 million interior refurbishment, guests will also be given the opportunity to experience an intimate ‘access all areas’ tour of the 18th century listed mansion building, its luxurious ballroom replete with maple dance floor and striking curved ceiling, its lavish reception and ceremony areas, beautifully re-designed bridal suite and 48 upgraded guest rooms.
On the evening of the Wedding Fayre, hotel proprietor and general manager, Michael Magner, will unveil plans for the country house hotel’s new look lobby and drawing room, giving guests the chance to be among the first to experience the exquisite new features that will be available to couples on their wedding day.
The icing on the cake of a Vienna Woods wedding is that bookings include many complimentary features which other hotels do not offer, such as mood lighting, Chiavari chairs, use of classic wedding cake stand and knife, a baby grand piano, complimentary table decorations and personalised souvenir menus which will all be showcased on the day.
