Established in 1972, Ballincollig Credit Union has always specialised in the provision of a safe place for savings and loan taking in the community. The financial institution offers members the chance to have control over their own finances by making their own savings work for them. This award-winning credit union exists only to serve its members and that is an ethos they live and work by each and every day.
Recently, Ballincollig Credit Union was named The Cork Credit Union of the Year 2018 at our very own The Rémy Martin Cork Business Awards 2018! The title is given each year to a credit union that is customer-focused and innovative when it comes to the products and services they offer.

The Credit Union will be displaying their crystal award in a “prominent position” in their Banking Hall and In the lead up to the award ceremony, Ballincollig Credit Union had many successful projects, which put them on our radar, including supporting the local community through many sponsorships including the Belle of Ballincollig Festival, and donations to many charities as well as their recent Coffee Morning with the Members in aid of Marymount Hospice. BCU have also launched some innovative loan products and campaigns and were recently recognised for their ‘Game of Loans’ marketing campaign, which was unsurprisingly nominated for a Cork Digital Media Award.
Never a team to rest, Ballincollig Credit Union will be rolling out their brand-new mortgage product, CU Home, as well a new agri-business lending product, Cultivate, in the Spring of next year.
