What does it mean to you and the team to win The Cork R&D/Innovation Award 2018?
It is truly an amazing honour for the Business & the IDS Team to win this prestigious award. Innovation, research and developing new groundbreaking products is our trade mark, it is the key foundation of what the business is built on.
It is a testament to our Team’s drive and commitment to strive towards innovating new exciting & pioneering products to meet each clients unique set of requirements.
Our core value is one of continual improvement & Innovation, we always strive to be better, more advanced, by continually research & developing new ideas enables us to develop remarkable entry solutions. Our passion is producing products that offer great design, functionality which are produced to an exceptionally high quality at extremely competitive prices. As a result we have successfully introduced the following products to our range : GRP & Hermetic Doors, complete shopfronts & facades, IDS offer a bending services enabling us to manufacture bespoke curved windows & doors.
How did you and your team celebrate?
The IDS team enjoyed the fantastic evening at the awards ceremony hosted by Business Cork & their phenomenal team. It was an exceptional night of celebrations and the team felt honoured to share the ceremony with so many other worthy local Companies. As only part of the IDS team were present on the night we do intend to plan further celebrations over the course of the coming weeks. This is a huge achievement for our team and we plan on getting a little more mileage from our all hard work in obtaining this amazing award… so more fun to follow.
How/where will you be displaying the award?
We intend on displaying this fantastic award and achievement by publicising it across all our social media platforms, the IDS website plus on all our marketing & promotional material. As we operate on a local & International scale we intend to promote this award with our vast clientele both National & Internationally via various trade shows & events we attend. We have received exceptional support from LEO & Enterprise Ireland who value, support & promote Innovation & R&D for companies in Ireland, therefore we intend to utilise their extensive network both locally & globally to high light our success in attaining this esteemed award.

Firstly our dedicated & talented Team, we have an absolutely amazing group of people working within IDS who all bring with them their own unique skill set & vast industry experience. This enables IDS to continuously push the boundaries to develop new exciting Innovative products & offer a vast range of bespoke solutions for our clients across a multitude of industries.
Secondly to our dedicated clients who have been supporting & believing in our capabilities for many years. Their support, co-operation & custom has enabled IDS to grow year on year since first established and for that we are forever grateful.
